But you’re probably wondering why you can’t start a new topic or post links. That’s intentional.

New users are temporarily limited with what they can do while they’re learning their way around the forum. Don’t worry… in this post, I’ll help you get fast-tracked to becoming a trusted member of the community.

STEP 1 - If you haven’t already, spend a few minutes doing the interactive training with @discobot so you can quickly learn the basics of using the forum.

Click on your profile at the top right of the page and locate the Greetings! notification:

STEP 2 - Take some time to read about the K8ssandra community, code of conduct and community guidelines in the Welcome message.

STEP 3 - Introduce yourself here and get to know other community members.

These simple steps will allow you to unlock privileges including starting a new topic so you can post questions.
